Successful candidates will be placed at various Clover branches nationwide, including Clayville, CDC Cape Town, Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth, and Queensburgh. The programme runs for 12 months and provides hands-on experience in merchandising, stock control, and customer interaction.
Purpose of the Learnership
The primary goal of the YES Learner (Merchandiser) programme is to equip unemployed youth with practical workplace experience in a retail and sales environment. Learners will gain exposure to merchandising standards, stock management processes, and professional workplace conduct. Minimum Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities
As a YES Learner (Merchandiser), participants will be responsible for supporting in-store operations and ensuring that Clover products are well presented and readily available. Key responsibilities include:
- Controlling and ordering stock in-store and in backup storage areas
- Applying correct stock control measures where Clover products are handled
- Minimising product returns and processing returns according to the store work plan
- Preventing out-of-stock situations and reporting issues to the Area Manager when necessary
- Placing accurate and timely stock orders in line with the ordering schedule
- Ensuring shelves are clean, neat, and well-packed at all times
- Applying correct shelf control according to store and shelf plans
- Maintaining fridge cleanliness and functionality where applicable
- Managing crates and equipment according to company policy
- Maintaining point-of-sale materials in allocated positions
- Ensuring price indicator labels are displayed correctly for all products
- Completing required administrative tasks accurately and on time

- Area Managers (AM)
