Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering an exciting opportunity for unemployed individuals with disabilities to join its Human Resources Business Administration Learnership (NQF Level 4). This learnership is designed to provide structured workplace experience combined with formal learning, allowing participants to gain valuable skills and exposure within a professional corporate environment.

About the Learnership Programme

The Business Administration Learnership (NQF Level 4) is a 12-month structured programme that integrates theoretical learning with practical, on-the-job work experience. Successful candidates will be placed within the Human Resources (People and Culture) Department, where they will gain hands-on exposure to administrative and HR-related functions.

The programme is intended for unemployed youth who have not previously completed the same qualification. Upon completion, learners will have improved employability and a solid foundation in business and human resources administration.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

Participants in this learnership will be required to:

  • Complete the NQF Level 4 Business Administration Learnership Programme
  • Participate in both formal classroom training and structured workplace learning
  • Support basic administrative and HR-related tasks as required
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and workplace standards
  • Attend all scheduled training sessions and workplace assignments
  • Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and commitment throughout the programme

Minimum Requirements

To be eligible for this learnership, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 / Matric qualification is essential
    • Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy and English with a minimum pass rate of 40%
  • Must be unemployed at the time of application
  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must be between the ages of 18 and 35
  • Must not have previously completed the same NQF Level 4 Business Administration Learnership at another organisation
  • Must not be enrolled in any formal full-time studies
  • Must have no criminal record
  • Must be willing to commit to the full 12-month learnership programme
  • Must be based in, near, or willing to travel to Elgin, Port Elizabeth, or Phoenix
  • Must be able to provide a valid medical letter from a registered healthcare professional confirming the nature of the disability
  • Must be an Employment Equity candidate with a disability

Required Skills and Competencies

Successful candidates should demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Proficiency in English and at least one other South African language
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivation and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a flexible and pressurised environment

  • Ability to work effectively within a team

Stipend and Additional Information

A monthly stipend will be offered in line with SETA requirements. This learnership does not guarantee permanent employment; however, it provides valuable workplace exposure and nationally recognised training that can enhance future career opportunities.
