Programme Overview
The Old Mutual Insure CGIC Learnership for Unemployed Youth is designed to help motivated and ambitious young individuals gain real-world experience in the financial services industry. Participants will undergo structured training and mentorship, focusing on insurance operations, customer service, and professional development.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this learnership opportunity, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must have a valid Matric Certificate (achieved by 31 December 2024).
- Must have passed Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Must not have been employed for more than 12 months.
- Must possess a valid South African ID document.
- Must have English as one of the languages on the Matric certificate.
Required Documentation
Applicants must include the following certified documents in their application:
- Matric Certificate – showing a pass in Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
- Certified Copy of South African ID.
- Full Academic Transcript – must indicate that the applicant is not currently studying.
