Job Purpose:

  • To deliver excellent customer service at all times.
  • To handle point of sale transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • To support store operations through merchandising and housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer purchases quickly and accurately at the POS.
  • Handle cash safely and responsibly.
  • Scan items and ensure correct pricing at checkout.
  • Promote and register customers for the Clicks ClubCard programme.
  • Inform customers about promotions, specials, and offers.
  • Deliver friendly, professional, and helpful customer service.
  • Maintain clean, organised, and well-stocked shelves.
  • Ensure proper merchandising according to store standards.
  • Stay updated on products, promotions, and store activities.
  • Assist with general housekeeping and store cleanliness.

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Basic mathematics for handling transactions.
  • Understanding of retail/FMCG operations.
  • Knowledge of merchandising and promotional activities.
  • Basic understanding of stock management.
