Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service:
- Welcome and seat guests promptly with a friendly attitude.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the menu and make suitable recommendations.
- Handle special requests and dietary needs professionally.
- Ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- Recommend additional or complementary items to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain awareness of allergens and dietary restrictions.
- Continuously monitor guest satisfaction and respond to feedback.
Operational Excellence:
- Accurately use the Simphony system for order processing.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff.
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet standards before serving.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully prepared.
- Follow proper service procedures and sequences.
- Process customer payments correctly and efficiently.
- Maintain proper table settings at all times.
Financial Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate billing and order recording.
- Handle payments securely and responsibly.
- Capture correct guest counts (covers) using the system.
- Assist with stock control and inventory counts.
- Follow stock ordering and requisition procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
Food & Beverage Knowledge:
- Maintain a strong understanding of the menu and daily specials.
- Be knowledgeable about food preparation methods.
- Understand wine pairings and beverage options.
- Stay informed about unavailable items.
- Be aware of dietary requirements, allergies, and restrictions.
