About the Role

The Client Services Agent role is focused on delivering high-quality customer service through inbound and outbound telephonic communication with MiWay’s client base. The successful candidate will be responsible for addressing customer queries, providing accurate product information, and ensuring that service standards consistently exceed customer expectations.

This position is well suited to individuals who enjoy working with people, solving problems, and operating in a fast-paced call centre environment. Client Services Agents play a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships between MiWay and its customers.

Key Responsibilities

The duties of the Client Services Agent include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently
  • Providing accurate and relevant product information to clients
  • Responding to customer queries in line with company standards and protocols
  • Using internal IT systems accurately to log and manage customer interactions
  • Resolving customer issues effectively and independently where possible
  • Referring calls to relevant departments when necessary
  • Establishing and maintaining constructive relationships with clients
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and accreditation requirements

The role requires a customer-focused mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining service excellence.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for the Client Services Agent position, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Standard 10 / NQF Level 4 qualification

In terms of experience, candidates should have:

  • At least 12 months of call centre and administrative experience
  • A minimum of 12 months’ experience in the Short-Term Insurance (STI) environment, specifically within client services
  • RE5 certification, which will be considered an added advantage

These requirements ensure that candidates are equipped with the foundational knowledge and experience needed to succeed in a regulated financial services environment.
