Learnership Overview

This is a 12-month paid learnership that combines classroom-based training with practical, in-store experience. Learners will work under the guidance of experienced retail professionals while completing the requirements of the Wholesale & Retail Operations Qualification at NQF Level 3.

The learnership is ideal for individuals who are currently unemployed and looking to gain their first formal experience in retail. No previous work experience is required, as full training and support will be provided throughout the programme.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • South African citizen
  • Aged between 18 and 35 years
  • Minimum Grade 12 qualification, with communication and mathematical literacy at NQF Level 2
  • Currently unemployed and not studying
  • Able and willing to commit to the full 12-month programme
  • Available to attend both classroom-based training and practical in-store learning
  • Must have successfully completed any required pre-assessment process, where applicable
  • No prior retail experience required
