Key Responsibilities
As an EPWP Data Capturer, your daily duties will include:
- Capturing and maintaining accurate records of EPWP participants and project data
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly and quarterly progress reports
- Managing files, documents, and electronic data systems
- Performing general administrative and office duties to support the department
- Assisting in the verification and validation of information for audits and compliance
- Ensuring that all captured data is correct, consistent, and up to date
- Reporting discrepancies or errors to your supervisor promptly
This role will give you exposure to public sector processes, data entry systems (including EPWPRS – Expanded Public Works Programme Reporting System), and administrative procedures used within government operations.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have a Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent
- Knowledge of EPWPRS will be an added advantage
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years
- Women and youth are strongly encouraged to apply
- Must be willing to undergo a computer-based assessment as part of the selection process
- Must be available for the full contract duration
Candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and computer literacy (especially in Microsoft Office) will have a better chance of success.
