Role Purpose
The Warehouse Picker and Packer is responsible for the accurate selection, packing, and preparation of goods for delivery. This position supports the smooth functioning of the warehouse by ensuring that inventory is well-organised, properly handled, and ready for dispatch according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and assemble products from shelves or storage areas according to order lists.
- Check product codes and quantities to ensure accuracy before packing.
- Pack goods safely, applying correct packaging materials to protect items during transport.
- Receive incoming stock deliveries, verifying quantities and inspecting for any damages or discrepancies.
- Organise, label, and store inventory neatly in assigned warehouse areas.
- Assist with regular stock counts and inventory management processes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment at all times.
- Follow company safety rules and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members to ensure that daily targets are met.

Qualifications and Competencies
- Education: National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent (NQF Level 4).
