About the Learnership

The Servest Security Learnership Programme is designed to provide young South Africans with both theoretical knowledge and practical workplace experience in the security sector. Participants will receive structured training while gaining valuable on-the-job exposure to professional security operations.

The programme aims to empower participants with the skills and qualifications needed to launch a successful career within the security industry. Learners will receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the programme, allowing them to earn while they learn.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Servest Security Learnership Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must have completed Matric (Grade 12).
  • Must hold a valid Grade C PSIRA registration (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority) – this is compulsory.
  • Must be currently unemployed.
  • Must be residing in Gauteng Province, specifically around Houghton, Sandton, or nearby areas.
  • Must be 26 years of age or younger at the time of application.
  • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Must have a strong interest in the security industry.
  • Must be willing to learn, take initiative, and be a self-starter or “go-getter.”

Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered.
