Job Purpose
The successful candidate will support the manufacturing of Flexitanks by ensuring products are produced to the required quality standards, handling materials safely, maintaining housekeeping, and following all company safety and quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Achieve hourly production targets
✅ Manufacture products according to quality standards
✅ Report material defects to the Quality Control Supervisor
✅ Complete cutting and roll sheets accurately
✅ Verify tank numbers against job sheets
✅ Conduct visual inspections of materials and finished products
✅ Report machinery faults to supervisors
✅ Maintain excellent housekeeping within the production area
✅ Report health and safety hazards immediately
✅ Update job sheets after completing tasks
✅ Ensure tanks are cut and trimmed according to specifications
✅ Perform material handling, storage and packaging duties
✅ Follow ISO9001, FSSC22000, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 procedures
✅ Operate within company safety and quality guidelines
✅ Perform cutting, wedge welding, gland welding, sleeving and folding processes
Minimum Requirements
✔️ Grade 12 (Matric)
✔️ Vocational, Technical or Specialized Certification will be an advantage
✔️ Less than 2 years’ warehouse or manufacturing experience
✔️ Good communication and interpersonal skills
✔️ Excellent time management skills
✔️ Reliable with a strong work ethic
