Purpose of the Role
- Provide efficient and effective procurement of goods and services
- Focus on low-value, low-risk procurement processes
- Ensure procurement activities are completed on time and within budget
- Adhere strictly to procurement policies, procedures, and best practices
- Support organisational operations through structured sourcing processes
Key Responsibilities
- Execute sourcing and procurement processes in line with company procedures
- Purchase goods and services while managing procurement administration
- Handle tender processes, including dual adjudication where required
- Manage contracts and purchase orders according to policies and standards
- Identify risks or challenges and consult supervisors for solutions
- Negotiate agreements with suppliers to meet organisational needs
- Coordinate procurement activities to ensure smooth operations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
- Analyse procurement data and provide insights independently
- Ensure compliance with governance and procurement regulations

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- National Diploma or National N Diploma in one of the following:
- Transport
- Commerce
- Logistics
- Supply Chain Management
- Qualification must be at NQF Level 6 with a minimum of 240 credits
Experience
- No prior work experience required
- Comprehensive training will be provided during the internship
