👥 Customer Service

  • Handle all customer compliments and complaints professionally and report them to management when necessary
  • Assist customers with enquiries and ensure their needs are met promptly
  • Direct customers to the correct departments for specialized assistance
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers
  • Ensure all customer queries, especially stock-related, are resolved efficiently
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with customers, especially when providing feedback

💰 Cash & Administration

  • Manage point-of-sale cash functions, including floats, shortages, and overages
  • Process refunds and returns accurately in line with company procedures
  • Perform daily cash reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy
  • Maintain proper control of petty cash, cash on hand, and related documentation
  • Ensure all administrative duties are completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain proper document control for all financial and operational records

📦 Stock & Deliveries

  • Verify deliveries against invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Handle returned goods and back shopping items correctly
  • Assist in managing and controlling high-risk stock to prevent losses
  • Support the Receiving Manager in logging distribution centre claims
  • Ensure all stock-related processes follow company standards and procedures

🔄 Store Operations

  • Assist in maintaining smooth and efficient store operations
  • Ensure that customer service speed meets company benchmarks
  • Support coordination and communication between different departments
  • Help maintain store standards and ensure compliance with operational procedures
  • Prepare daily run reconciliations to support financial accuracy
  • Ensure sufficient change is available for cashiers to maintain service efficiency
