TsAfrika Catering Solutions is seeking to appoint three (3) Cashiers to support daily catering operations in Rustenburg, North West. This is a permanent opportunity within a professional food service environment.

🎯 Role Overview
The Cashier will be responsible for managing point-of-sale (POS) transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash handling, and supporting smooth service delivery within the catering operation.
This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
🛒 Key Duties & Responsibilities
💬 Customer Service
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide helpful information about products and services
- Handle customer queries promptly and courteously
- Maintain a positive customer experience at all times
💳 Transaction Processing
- Accurately process cash, card, and digital payments
- Issue receipts and manage transaction records
- Handle returns and exchanges according to company procedures
- Perform daily cash-ups and report discrepancies
🧼 Checkout & Work Area Maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organised checkout area
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards
- Support light merchandising and restocking when required
🤝 Team Support
- Work collaboratively with catering and service teams
- Assist with operational duties during peak periods
- Follow company procedures and service standards
✅ Minimum Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety practices
Advantageous:
- Previous experience as a cashier in catering, retail, or hospitality
