Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Data Capturer will be responsible for the accurate handling and management of information across multiple platforms. Key duties will include:

  • Capturing, updating, and maintaining accurate data on internal systems and databases
  • Verifying information for accuracy and completeness, and following up on discrepancies when required
  • Ensuring all documents are correctly recorded, filed, and stored in line with company procedures
  • Assisting with data compilation and the preparation of basic reports when requested
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive or proprietary information responsibly
  • Performing general administrative tasks to support departmental and operational efficiency
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure data is processed accurately and within required timeframes
  • Supporting continuous improvement of record-keeping and data management processes

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience as a Data Capturer, Data Entry Clerk, or in a similar administrative role
  • Strong typing skills with proficiency in common computer applications
  • Basic understanding of data management and document control processes
  • Willingness to follow company procedures and compliance requirements

Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment will be advantageous but is not essential.


Working Environment

This role is based within a manufacturing operation and requires a high level of accuracy, consistency, and professionalism. The Data Capturer will interact with multiple departments and must be comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment.
