Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled for a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Eligible to complete both P1 and P2 in-service training
- A strong academic record and understanding of mechanical engineering principles
- Basic working knowledge of CAD software (such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks) is beneficial
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work effectively in a team
- Must be a South African citizen with a valid South African ID
- Must reside in Diepsloot, Laudium, Atteridgeville, Lotus Gardens, or Saulsville

Key Responsibilities
The Mechanical Engineering Intern will gain exposure to various areas of engineering operations within PPC Aggregates. Duties include:
- Assisting engineering staff with mechanical inspections, maintenance tasks, and plant equipment assessments
- Supporting troubleshooting activities and applying theoretical knowledge to real-world mechanical challenges
- Participating in engineering projects and documenting progress, data, and observations
