Job Title
Security Guard (400 Positions Available)
Location: Cape Town, South Africa
Locations & Working Hours
- Various locations across
- Day and night shifts, rotational schedule
- Full-time and part-time opportunities may be considered, depending on site requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned premises (buildings, grounds, industrial sites) to ensure the safety and security of people and property
- Monitor access points, check IDs or credentials, guard gates, and control entry/exit
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, following company procedures
- Provide excellent customer service; assist visitors and staff where needed
- Complete and submit incident reports, daily logs, and other required paperwork
- Work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as needed
Requirements & Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following:
- Be a South African citizen, 18 years or older
- Valid Grade 12 / Matric certificate (or relevant equivalent)
- No criminal record; background verification will be conducted
- Be physically fit, able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English and preferably local languages
- Ability to remain alert, disciplined, responsible, and reliable
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends
- Valid PSIRA (Independent Police Investigative Directorate) registration preferred (if applicable)
- Any prior experience in security or related field will be an advantage
