Graduate Trainee: Retail – TWK Agri
TWK Agri is offering an exciting 12-month Graduate Trainee opportunity within the Retail Department at their Pietermaritzburg branch, KwaZulu-Natal. This contract position is designed for recent graduates from 2024 or 2025 who want to build a career in retail operations, customer service, sales, and management within a respected agricultural company.
This programme is ideal for graduates who studied Marketing, Business Management, or related qualifications and are eager to gain practical workplace experience. The selected candidate will be placed at the nearest suitable TWK retail branch based on business needs. During the programme, you will rotate through different sections of the branch to gain a full understanding of retail operations.
Your daily duties will include assisting with branch operations, supporting customer service, helping with sales activities, merchandising products, stock control, and learning inventory processes. You will also help with administration, reporting, record keeping, and supporting promotions or in-store marketing campaigns. This hands-on exposure will help you understand pricing, product ranges, retail systems, and branch performance management.
TWK Agri is looking for candidates who have completed Matric / Grade 12 and hold a University Degree obtained in 2024 or 2025 in Marketing, Business Management, or another relevant field. Applicants should have a strong interest in retail, sales, and customer service. Good computer skills, especially in MS Word and MS Excel, are required. Strong communication skills, teamwork, adaptability, and willingness to learn are also important. A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
