🚗 Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out driving duties and assisting the department with other reasonable tasks.
Duties include:
• Delivering vehicle parts to customers, suppliers and other branches
• Collecting parts from branches, customers and outside suppliers
• Ensuring that parts remain in good condition while being transported
• Assisting customers when delivering parts
• Checking vehicles for damage, defects and general roadworthiness
• Checking delivery vehicles for missing parts, spare wheels and tools
• Ensuring vehicles are locked when not in use
• Ensuring vehicle keys are safely stored
• Reporting accidents, traffic offences and vehicle defects to the supervisor
• Performing other reasonable duties as required by the department
• Working overtime when required
🎯 Requirements
Applicants should have:

📋 What You Will Do
As a Light Duty Driver, you will play an important role in supporting the dealership’s daily operations. You may be required to travel between branches, customers and suppliers to collect and deliver parts. You will also be expected to ensure that delivery vehicles are properly checked before and after use.
Vehicle safety and security will be an important part of the position. The successful candidate must report any defects, damage, accidents or traffic offences and ensure that vehicles and keys are properly secured.
Good customer service is also required, as the driver may interact directly with customers when delivering parts.
